BlockBeats News, May 7th, Grayscale has completed the first quarter of 2026 cryptocurrency industry fund rebalancing. The DeFi fund has added the Ethena token ENA with a weight of 13.59%, becoming the fourth largest holding in the fund. At the same time, the fund has fully removed the Aerodrome Finance token AERO. After the rebalancing, the major holdings of the fund include: Uniswap (UNI) with a percentage of 35.22%, Aave (AAVE) with a percentage of 21.36%, Ondo Finance (ONDO) with a percentage of 19.83%, Curve DAO (CRV) with a percentage of 5.27%, and Lido DAO (LDO) with a percentage of 4.73%.
Furthermore, the Smart Contract Platform Fund did not make any asset additions or reductions this quarter. Ethereum (ETH) has increased its holding weight to 30.14%, surpassing Solana (SOL) once again with 29.69% to become the largest holding. Cardano (ADA) ranks third with a weight of 17.96%, followed by Avalanche, Hedera, and Sui. This adjustment was mainly based on the CoinDesk DeFi Select Index and the CoinDesk Smart Contract Platform Select Maximum Index methodology to ensure that the fund holdings align with liquidity, custody, and market value requirements.
