1. What is the difference between Auto-Invest Plan and Lump-Sum Investment?
(1) Auto-Invest plan: With auto-invest plan, you don’t need to monitor the market or time your investments. It reduces the risk of buying at a high price by making multiple purchases over time, making it suitable for long-term investments.
(2) Lump-Sum investment: If the timing for a lump-sum investment is appropriate, it may offer higher returns and better capital utilization. However, it demands strong market judgment from the investor.
2. What is a Recurring Cycle?
The recurring cycle refers to the execution interval of the Auto-Invest Plan set by the user.
CoinEx Auto-Invest Plan supports regular purchases of crypto assets on a daily (once or multiple times), weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.
Trading Operations
1. Where is the investment principal allocated for the Auto-Invest Plan from?
The investment principal will be funded by the available balance in your Spot Account. Please ensure sufficient funds in your account.
2. What happens if the available balance is insufficient during execution?
(1) When the balance is insufficient in the Spot Account, the current cycle of the Auto-Invest Plan will not be executed, and the system will notify you via in-site messages and email to add funds. The overall strategy and the next cycle will not be affected.
(2) If the Auto-Invest strategy fails to execute for 5 consecutive cycles due to insufficient balance, the system will suspend the plan. You will need to restart the plan manually.
3. Will each cycle of Auto-Invest be fully executed?
No. The execution depends on market depth. If the execution is only partially successful, you will receive a notification via in-site messages and email, or you can see more info on the [Details] page.
4. Are there any fees for Auto-Invest?
Auto-Invest only charges the trading fee based on the actual transaction executed (same as the Spot Trading Fees). No additional service fees are charged, and CET cannot be used for fee deductions.
5. What are the minimum and maximum order limits for each Auto-Invest cycle?
The minimum amount for each cycle is 1 USDT, and the maximum limit depends on the specific market. Please refer to the instructions for details when you create an Auto-Invest Plan.
6. How many Auto-Invest Plans can each user create?
Each user can create up to 20 active or paused strategies, including Auto-Invest Plans, Spot Grid, etc.
