- Coin Introduction
What is LORDS?
Realm Lords are pivotal figures within the on-chain, eternal world, holding dominion over land and driving economic growth. Their actions, ranging from forging alliances to waging wars for scarce resources, inject dynamism into the game. Success hinges on a delicate balance between resource acquisition, expansion, and realm defense.
Originally generated as black and white SVG files, the 8000 Realms now boast high-fidelity 3D renders. Each realm harbors between one to seven of the 22 resources found in the "Lootverse," with varying rarity. Geographical traits such as cities, regions, harbors, and rivers impose constraints on construction and resource utilization. Strategic decisions made by Realm Lords shape the course of their realms, influencing alliances, enemies, and the prosperity of their domain.
Who created LORDS?
Bibliotheca DAO, the creators of LORDS, envisioned a protocol to unite on-chain games within the Realms. Founded with the mission to interconnect Lootverse projects, Bibliotheca's vision has evolved into a greater endeavor, enabling adventurers to explore seamlessly.
How does LORDS work?
In the LORDS lending protocol, resource generation begins once a Realm is established in the game. Players purchase Labor to initiate resource production, with the cost varying based on the rarity of the resource. Each resource cycle lasts 2 hours, yielding 25 times the resource amount purchased. Resources can be harvested at any time, providing flexibility and protection from raids.
To increase production, players buy Labor in 2-hour increments, allowing for the accumulation of resources over time. Harvested resources appear in the player's Iron Bank and can be traded on the Automated Market Maker. The Raidable Vault generates additional resources for each Realm, which are vulnerable to raids but can be defended with a strong army. Trade via the AMM enables players to exchange excess resources for $LORDS tokens, contributing to Realm development and prosperity.
LORDS Tokenomics
What is LORDS used for?
The $LORDS token, an ERC20 token, fuels the Realmverse, serving as a fungible gateway for network access and exit. Its issuance adheres to a gradual schedule linked to network growth, ensuring stability and utility. With it, users can procure resources, summon armies, and engage in diverse activities within the Realmverse. Additionally, trading on crypto exchanges offers flexibility for network participation.
Token Distribution
$LORDS token distribution is primarily through game emissions, balancing inflation and growth over a minimum of 7 years.Bibliotheca DAO holds a significant token portion for various purposes. Additionally, 5% is allocated to the development fund, while early Realms holders received an initial stake through the Journey Contract, which will not reoccur.
