CoinEx News: BTC fell below $73,000 on May 28 as renewed U.S.-Iran clashes near the Strait of Hormuz triggered a leverage unwind across crypto. Neither side said the ceasefire had collapsed, leaving a fragile framework in place, while CoinGlass 24-hour data showed $958.8 million in liquidations, including $897 million of longs, and Farside data showed U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted $733.4 million of net outflows on May 27.

Glassnode's May 27 update showed BTC had already lost the key $75,000-$78,000 cost zone that many recent buyers were watching, while ETF demand was fading and options traders were still paying up for downside protection, making the break below $73,000 a test of whether real spot buying can absorb the selloff.
