BlockBeats News, May 28th, Lightning Capital announced the establishment of a $100 million "AI Ripple Effect" early-stage fund and appointed former Andreessen Horowitz partner Michele Griffin as the fund's Managing Partner and COO. The fund will invest in startup enterprises that focus on the secondary impact on industries, infrastructure, and work processes as AI moves from experimentation to implementation. It will also provide secondary market and cash management strategies, as well as offer flexible liquidity options for family offices and corporate investors. The fund aims to invest in 10 to 15 companies, with individual investments ranging from $1 million to $5 million, covering seed to Series A stages.
