BlockBeats News, May 27th. According to Indian officials, India is currently testing some of the most sensitive public-facing financial and government applications to better assess their potential vulnerabilities when faced with the Anthropic next-generation AI model Mythos. Indian tech giant Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services, among other companies, are testing the security of their software against Mythos in a secure environment.

Additionally, officials revealed that India's national cybersecurity agency CERT-In is also conducting tests on critical digital infrastructure, including the Aadhaar national identification system and government login systems. Since these companies do not currently have access to Mythos, they are leveraging the Anthropic Claude Opus 4.7 model to patch vulnerabilities. Sources indicated that the Reserve Bank of India has convened meetings with domestic banks multiple times to remind them to be vigilant about the risks posed by Mythos.

Last month, Indian Finance Minister Sitaraman stated that India is closely monitoring the potential threats posed by Mythos and has urged banks to enhance vigilance to ensure the security of IT systems, customer data, and financial resources.
