In a post by World, as of April 10, 2026, the total token supply of WLD is 10 billion, with 49% (4.9 billion) already unlocked, and approximately 3.3 billion in circulation. When launched on July 24, 2023, 500 million WLD were unlocked from the World Community allocation. The remaining 9.5 billion entered into an ongoing daily linear unlocking mechanism, which will ultimately fully unlock after 15 years of being live.

Due to the aforementioned locking mechanism, starting from July 24, 2026, the unlocking rate of various token categories will automatically decrease:

· Community Tokens: The unlocking rate will decrease by 50%, from 3.2 million daily to 1.6 million, following an immutable on-chain contract execution. · TFH Investor and Team Tokens: The unlocking rate will decrease by 32%, from 1.9 million daily to 1.3 million.

Overall, the total unlocking rate of all tokens will decrease by 43%, from approximately 5.1 million daily to around 2.9 million WLD.
