According to Dongcha Beating monitoring, Blitzy, an AI coding startup founded by a former NVIDIA architect, has raised $200 million, valuing the company at $1.4 billion. Blitzy is an AI startup based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, co-founded in 2023 by former US Army Cavalryman and entrepreneur Brian Elliott, and former NVIDIA senior architect Sid Pardeshi. The company focuses on providing an AI platform for large enterprises to autonomously complete large-scale software development projects. It has just completed a $200 million Series D funding round led by Northzone, with participation from PSG, Battery Ventures, Jump Capital, and other institutions. With this funding, the post-money valuation reaches $1.4 billion, bringing the total funding to over $204 million, establishing Blitzy as the newest unicorn in the Boston area.
Blitzy's platform can reverse-engineer entire enterprise codebases, build dynamic knowledge graphs, understand billions of lines of code in one go, and coordinate thousands of specialized AI Agents to work in parallel for days to weeks, autonomously handling coding, testing, and validation. This results in over a 5x increase in enterprise engineering velocity, with over 80% of development work being autonomously completed. The company plans to use this funding to expand its R&D team, scale up sales, and deepen collaborations with regulated industries such as government, finance, and insurance. Blitzy aims to highlight its full-stack autonomous development advantage in competitions like GitHub Copilot and Cognition Devin.
