According to the arrangement, the winning bidder can bring up to 7 guests to have lunch with Buffett and the Curry family in Omaha, USA, before June 24. This auction marks the first restart of Buffett's charity lunch since 2022.

The proceeds from this auction will be evenly split between the Glide Foundation and the Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation founded by the Curry family. Buffett has also pledged to make additional donations to both organizations equal to the transaction amount, increasing the overall charity funds to approximately $27 million.

Records show that from 2000 to 2022, Buffett's charity lunch has been held 21 times, raising a total of around $53.2 million, with the 2022 edition setting an eBay charity auction record of $19 million.
