1. Project introduction

SATOX is a Proof-of-Work cryptocurrency which integrates play-to-earn functionality into popular games. It uses a proof-of-work algorithm called KAWPOW that is ASIC-resistant, allowing home GPU mining to continue. The project enables players to earn SATOX coins while playing. Over 670 Steam games have been confirmed as earning opportunities. SATOX has big plans for “true proof of game” which would more deeply integrate gameplay and mining, allowing players to validate blockchain transactions and receive coin rewards straight to their wallet by having the wallet software utilize GPU resources while gaming.

SATOX's native coin is used for in-game purchases and as a payment method for eSports tournaments. Other usage cases for SATOX include accounting, storing value, transferring value, minting and transferring digital assets on the blockchain, making purchases and donations, and in-game purchases and rewards.

SATOX gradually reduces mining rewards over time. According to the new plan, mining rewards will be halved after a certain number of blocks are mined.
