BlockBeats News, July 16th, 1inch Co-Founder Anton Bukov announced in a post that he was fired at the end of November 2025. He remains a co-founder of 1inch and holds a 50% stake but is no longer involved in company operations. He is no longer responsible for product architecture, security design, or related oversight.

Bukov stated that since co-founding 1inch in May 2019, he has been mainly responsible for protocol architecture, security, and economic model design. He was involved in launching products such as 1inch Router, 1inch Fusion, cross-chain atomic swaps, and shared liquidity AMMs.

He mentioned that feedback from users and team members over the past year made him realize that he could not continue to be detached from company management and operations. Subsequently, he spent several months learning about leadership and communication styles, driving change, and was ultimately fired at the end of November 2025.

Bukov also announced the launch of a new project, Second Tier, with the plan to collaboratively build a secure and efficient system with a team that shares his vision and values, aiming to reduce the gap between economic intent and actual execution.
