BlockBeats News, July 21st, Solv Protocol announced that its BTC+ contract on the BNB Chain was attacked on July 13th. After an investigation, it was found that the attacker stole the deployer's private key, then upgraded the BTC+ minting proxy contract on BSC and minted unauthorized BTC+ tokens. The team completed an emergency response within 3 hours, isolated the malicious contract, froze, burned, or isolated all unauthorized BTC+, ensuring the security of all underlying assets.

As a preventive measure, BTC+ purchases and redemptions have been suspended and are expected to resume within two weeks. The team has now upgraded deployer security measures, rotated all affected access credentials and signing keys, and initiated a comprehensive external re-audit.
