BlockBeats News, August 7th, SK Hynix announced that it will invest $38.4 billion to expand its chip business in South Korea. The plan includes investing 19.1 trillion Korean won ($13.47 billion) in the M17 chip plant in Cheongju, with the investment expected to be completed by 2031. There is also a plan to invest 35.2 trillion Korean won (approximately $24.9 billion) in the second-phase chip plant construction in Yongin.
