BlockBeats News, August 11th, the value of Swiss National Bank's US stock foreign exchange reserves grew by over 10% in the second quarter, reaching the highest level on record.
According to the 13F-HR filing submitted by the Swiss National Bank to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday, as of June 30th, the bank held stakes in over 2300 U.S. listed companies, with a total value of $191.4 billion. The Swiss National Bank allocates slightly over a quarter of its foreign exchange reserves to stocks, with some of it invested in the U.S.
The top three holdings are NVIDIA (NVDA.O), Apple (AAPL.O), and Microsoft (MSFT.O). The bank also holds shares of defense software company Palantir worth $7.166 billion, despite earlier demands from activist investors to sell around $1.1 billion worth of Palantir holdings, which the Swiss National Bank refused.
