Dynamic Beating AI News: AI search company Keenable has come out of stealth mode, securing a $26 million seed funding round led by Accel with participation from Conviction. The company has built its own independent index of over 100 billion web pages. The Agent can perform searches through an API or MCP and directly access the organized web page content.

Founder Andrey Styskin previously led Yandex's search and advertising business, and later worked on Web infrastructure at Amazon AGI.

Styskin also announced the launch of the Web Query Language (WQL). In simple terms, it aims to enable the Agent to query the entire Web as a database instead of searching individual web pages one by one. Even if the answers are scattered across different websites, they can be filtered out at once and stitched together. This can be understood as "adding a SQL-like query interface to the Internet." The Search API and WQL will be freely available until the end of September.

Keenable is not the first to do Agent-based search. Exa also maintains its own index of about 100 billion web pages. One direct advantage Keenable has now is pricing: $4 per 1000 searches, compared to Exa's $7, making it approximately 43% cheaper.
