BlockBeats News, September 2nd, the United States Mint unveiled the 2026 United States Semiquincentennial $1 coin featuring President Trump. The obverse of the coin bears the current President Trump's portrait and is inscribed with the words "Liberty," "In God We Trust," and "1776-2026," designed by U.S. Mint Chief Engraver Joseph Menna based on an official White House photo.
The reverse of the coin features the Presidential Seal, including an eagle holding an olive branch and a bundle of arrows, a shield, and a banner with the motto "E Pluribus Unum," with the shield also marked with the "250" symbolizing the 250th anniversary of the nation's founding. The coin is minted at the Philadelphia Mint using a circulation finish and, although not intended for circulation, it is still legal tender.
The product is offered in 25-coin rolls and 100-coin bags, priced at $61 to $154.50 respectively. The rolls and bags are limited to 150,000 and 50,000 units, with a household limit of 2 units. The purchase limit will remain in place until 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on September 3rd.
