Recently, CoinEx Charity, the charity arm of the long-established crypto exchange CoinEx, announced its sponsorship of Toi Ban Linh 2023, a contest organized by the Youth Union of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU). The contest aims to improve the technological literacy of college students and help them better understand the impact of modern digital technology on their everyday life. CoinEx Charity plans to encourage more young people to pay attention to digital and financial technologies through this sponsorship.
With a history spanning an entire decade, Toi Ban Linh went with the theme of “I stop I go” in 2023. The contest, which consisted of preliminaries, semi-finals, and finals, took place at VNU-UET and lasted a whole month, with contestants from 21 Vietnamese universities. During the contest, contestants appreciated the changes brought about by digital technology in their daily lives, explored the future impact of digital technology, and shared their thoughts on how technology reshapes life. CoinEx Charity provided part of the funding and prizes to ensure the smooth running of the contest, as it believes that the event will provide a broader space for young people to explore technology while mastering and applying digital technology in practical scenarios.
In finals, which were held on June 10, six outstanding contestants shared their unique insights into the application of modern digital technologies. One student suggested that blockchain technology would promote global trade and provide more efficient and secure payment methods for the financial industry. Another student believed that artificial intelligence would bring about social transformations worldwide, improving various aspects of human life. In the end, a student from the Youth Academy won the championship with an inventive, captivating speech. CoinEx Charity also awarded special prizes to the six students who stood out from thousands of competitors, encouraging them to continue with their research of digital technology and make greater contributions to the world in the future.
“As an international charity, we have always worked to support educational welfare. We are honored to sponsor the contest and are delighted to see the insight and creativity of the younger generation in understanding future technological trends. This will surely accelerate the development of the digital space and improve public wellbeing,” suggested CoinEx Charity during the award ceremony.
