China’s Gold Reserves Reach 75.44M Ounces After 20-Month Buying Streak

CoinEx News: China’s official gold reserves rose to 75.44 million troy ounces at the end of June 2026, up 480,000 ounces, or about 14.93 tonnes, from the previous month, according to data released by China’s State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) on July 7. The increase marks the 20th consecutive monthly rise in China’s gold holdings. The move points to continued reserve diversification while China’s foreign-exchange reserves fell to $3.416 trillion in June.
