火星財經消息，7 月 15 日，日本最大銀行卡網絡 JCB 與 Circle 簽署諒解備忘錄（MOU），雙方將探索利用 USDC 開展跨境支付、商戶結算及資金管理等業務，推動穩定幣在日本日常支付場景中的應用。 JCB 在全球擁有約 1.4 億用戶和 4000 萬商戶。雙方初期將圍繞 JCB 內部資金劃轉開展概念驗證（PoC），並進一步研究利用 USDC 提升跨境支付效率、降低匯款成本，以及支持國際遊客在日本商戶使用穩定幣支付。 此次合作是日本穩定幣商業化進程的一部分。此前，Circle 已宣佈將與野村合作開發基於 USDC 的外匯結算服務；日本連鎖便利店 Lawson 也計劃於今年 8 月啟動穩定幣支付試點。
