BlockBeats News, August 12: Coinbase will suspend the following perpetual contract trading around August 26 at 21:00 UTC: Memecoin (MEME-PERP), The Sandbox (SAND-PERP), Moonbirds (BIRB-PERP), Blur (BLUR-PERP), Katana (KAT-PERP), SPX6900 (SPX-PERP), ZORA (ZORA-PERP), Axie Infinity (AXS-PERP), Gensyn (AI-PERP), and LayerZero (ZRO-PERP).

At that time, any remaining open positions will be automatically settled at the final settlement price, which is the average index price in the 60 minutes before the trading suspension. The funding rate for the last funding period will be set to zero.
