CoinEx News: The U.S. Federal Reserve will publish the minutes of its July 29, 2026 policy meeting on August 20. At that meeting the committee kept the federal funds rate target range at 3.50%–3.75%. Three of the twelve voting members had favored a 25-basis-point increase. Bitcoin traded near $63,300–$63,400 on August 17 after a roughly 3% weekly decline, according to market data.
Traders will examine the minutes for any additional detail on inflation concerns or the willingness to raise rates later in 2026. The same day also brings the weekly U.S. initial jobless claims report. Both releases can influence short-term risk appetite in crypto markets that have seen limited ETF inflows in recent sessions.
