CoinEx News: GoPlus Security’s GPS token climbed roughly 41% on August 17, 2026, trading near $0.0168. Spot volume reached about $64 million while futures volume exceeded $1.5 billion, according to CoinGlass. The move came after SafePal disclosed a plug-in flaw that exposed personal data of around 39,800 customers, Trezor’s shipping partner ShipMonk leaked details of more than 11,000 users, and a Coldcard firmware issue continued to produce losses exceeding 1,700 BTC.
Trading activity expanded sharply after nearly 49 weeks of range-bound price action. The higher volume and open interest show more market participants focused on the token, though the rapid increase also leaves room for volatility if attention moves elsewhere.
