- SOL0%
CoinEx News: SOL closed at $76.02 on August 17, gaining 1.9% on the day while remaining nearly flat over seven and 30 days. The token held above its 20-day moving average with positive MACD momentum, but remained below its 50- and 200-day averages, leaving the broader trend neutral rather than confirmed bullish.
Demand signals improved the outlook. A historically profitable whale returned after more than two years to purchase 47,535 SOL token worth about $3.6 million, while SOL spot ETFs attracted $10.26 million in net inflows during August 10–14, bringing cumulative inflows to $1.16 billion. Together, the developments point to renewed interest from whales and regulated products and SOL’s technical setup remains stronger than its recent headline performance suggests. For now, SOL is best viewed as an improving watchlist candidate: continued institutional inflows and broader market participation would strengthen the bullish case, while failure to recover its longer-term moving averages would keep the outlook cautious.
