BlockBeats News, August 19th, ZK Infrastructure Company Aligned announced the ALIGN airdrop rules on Tuesday, 20 months after the airdrop registration deadline. The company did not disclose the TGE date. The Genesis airdrop accounts for 8.74% of the total supply of 10 billion ALIGN, with 44.36% unlocking at TGE (approximately 3.88% of the total supply). The airdrop is divided into two parts: community allocation, accounting for about 6.54% of the total supply, where users holding wallets with less than 10,000 tokens will fully unlock at TGE, those holding more than this amount will receive only 10,000 tokens at TGE, with the remainder released linearly over 12 months. Small allocations are claimed on the Base network, while large ones are claimed on the Ethereum mainnet. The ZK Arcade game event accounts for 0.10%, fully unlocking at TGE.

In addition, notable contributors account for 2.10%, with the Protocol Guild receiving 1.5%, and L2BEAT, ZachXBT, and Zero Knowledge Podcast each receiving 0.2%. 2.08% of this portion is released at TGE, with the remaining amount linearly released over 47 months.

Aligned established the airdrop eligibility in December 2024, at which time 986,843 individuals qualified, with over 160,000 wallets completing registration. The Proof Verification Layer, on which the airdrop depended, was deprecated in July and replaced with Proof Aggregation Service, supporting SP1 zkVM. Users can now check their airdrop allocation.
