A final prospectus filed August 24 confirms the vehicle has been renamed The Zcash ETF and approved for listing on NYSE Arca under ZCSH, with trading expected to begin August 25. The fund charges a 2.5% annual sponsor fee payable in ZEC. A DCG affiliate is discussing a non-binding contribution of about 200,000 ZEC.

The conversion introduces continuous share creation and redemption with an arbitrage mechanism to keep ZCSH closer to the value of its underlying ZEC. This marks the first US spot ETF for a privacy-focused digital asset, upgrading the previous OTCQX trust that often traded at large premiums or discounts to NAV.
