Tether開源AI翻譯模型，覆蓋19種非洲語言及9種歐洲語言

火星財經消息，9 月 2 日，Tether AI Research 宣佈推出多組開源 AI 翻譯模型，可直接在智能手機、筆記本電腦及其他邊緣設備上運行，並支持離線翻譯，用戶數據無需上傳至第三方雲端。其中，TranslatePsy-AfriSLM 支持 19 種非洲語言，AfriNano 支持 8 種，EuroNano 覆蓋 9 種歐洲語言；前者覆蓋的語言使用者約佔非洲人口的一半。 Tether 還引入新的質量評估過濾方法，可移除多達 96% 的低質量開源訓練數據。相關模型已在 Hugging Face 開放下載，其研究成果也獲 EMNLP 2026 會議接收。
