BlockBeats News, September 3rd. According to official sources, Solana's ecosystem transaction aggregator Jupiter announced the launch of the Universal Deposit cross-chain deposit feature. Users can now send any supported on-chain token to Jupiter without the need for a bridging tool and receive USDC directly in their Solana wallets. This feature integrates routing, cross-chain bridging, and exchange processes automatically, eliminating the need for network switching or additional transactions.
Currently, Universal Deposit supports asset deposits from networks such as Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and Sui. Users can complete the operation directly using their existing wallets. The service implements a flat fee structure, charging $0.30 per transaction, regardless of whether the transfer amount is $100 or $10 million. Jupiter stated that this feature aims to provide a more convenient cross-chain asset transfer experience.
