Method 1: Export asset history manually
1. Visit CoinEx official website (https://www.coinex.com), log in to your account, and select [History] under [Assets] in the top-right corner.
2. On the [Spot] page of [History], click [Export Data] in the upper right corner to enter the page of data export of all accounts.
3. You can customize your export data by selecting the [Time Range], [Account Type], and [Asset Type] and exporting your asset history in one or all accounts.
4. After submitting the export request, the system will asynchronously generate the data and notify you via email and an in-site message once the process is complete.
5. Once the data is generated, click [Download] to obtain the compressed file. After extracting it, you will receive 4 CSV files corresponding to the account data for Spot, Margin, Futures, and Financial accounts. If an account has no trading records during the selected query period, the corresponding CSV file will contain no data.
Note:
1. Asset historical records are retained for up to the most recent 50,000 entries.
2. Each download link of exported data will be valid for 7 days. Please download as soon as possible.
3. You can export data up to 6 times per calendar month.Please wait until the next calendar month to continue exporting if the limit is exceeded.
Method 2: Automatically Export Data via CoinEx API
1. Visit CoinEx official website (https://www.coinex.com), log in to your account, and select [API Management] from the dropdown menu under the [Avatar] icon in the top-right corner.
2. Click [Create API].
3. Add API remarks, select Read-Only Mode, complete the security verification, and create a Read-Only API for automatically exporting data.
4. After the API is created successfully, you will get a unique API ID and key. You can copy these keys and integrate them later with a third-party tax provider.
5. 5. According to the personal tax situation and the requirements of your jurisdiction, or after consulting a professional tax advisor, choose the required third-party tax tool. Please note that third-party tools may charge service fees.
Using Koinly as an example: Go to the Koinly website, confirm the account type, then select the purpose of use, pricing currency, and country.
Note: CoinEx does not recommend any specific third-party tax instruments; this article is for illustration purposes only.
6. Add a [Wallet], and select [CoinEx].
7. Set your wallet name and click [Set Automatic Sync].
8. You will see a pop-up window (Setup CoinEx API). Enter the unique key you obtained from the CoinEx API, and click [Secure Import].
Note: Access ID = API Key, Secret Key = API Secret
9. Koinly will automatically download your transaction history through a read-only API and keep the data in sync.
