2.Token application and distribution

Token application

The $SWTCH token serves both governance and utility functions. Token holders stake $SWTCH to receive svSWTCH, granting voting rights on protocol parameters, oracle operations, and upgrades. Staking aligns incentives between node operators and consumers, securing the network and ensuring data accuracy. Rewards come from protocol fees and SWTCH subsidies distributed approximately every 2–3 days via Jito's Node Consensus Network (NCN).
