BlockBeats News, May 8th, Zcash (ZEC) CEO Josh Swihart announced Zcash's quantum roadmap at Consensus Miami 2026, planning to release a quantum-resilient wallet by June 2026 (within one month) and achieve full quantum protection by 2027. This is aimed at addressing the threat of the Shor algorithm to Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) keys, particularly safeguarding the privacy of Shielded transactions.
