BlockBeats News, June 1st - The Beijing Satellite IoT Industry Development Conference was successfully held in Haidian. During the conference, it was announced that Beijing's first Space Computing Power Industry Innovation Center was officially established. The center was approved by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, and was jointly initiated by Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications with the support of leading companies in the industry located in Haidian District.
Professor Wang Shangguang, Dean of the Computer Science School at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, introduced that the center adopts a "Company + Alliance" model, focusing on six key research directions along the entire space computing power industry chain: high-reliability and heat-resistant space-native computing chips, high-performance interconnection space computing payloads, space computing satellite platforms and standard systems, large-scale space models with power and reliability constraints, integrated space-ground communication control networks and cloudification, and space computing service-oriented and Token-based operations. This approach will integrate the full stack of "Chip-Hardware-Platform-Intelligence-Network-Application" to systematically build a native space computing power industry ecosystem.
