BlockBeats News, August 16th. Following SpaceX's listing on Nasdaq on June 12th, the second-quarter 13F report first disclosed the institutional holdings after its listing. Third-party 13F platform Giantsight's statistics show that as of June 30th, approximately 1697 reporting entities disclosed their positions in SpaceX, covering pre-listing investors, venture capital, asset management institutions, pension funds, and other types of funds.

SEC filings show that Google's parent company Alphabet reported holding 551 million shares of SpaceX ($94.18 billion), making it the largest 13F reporting position in terms of value. Valor Management holds 503 million shares ($86.01 billion), FMR LLC holds 303 million shares ($51.66 billion), Gigafund Management holds 172 million shares ($29.36 billion), the Saudi Public Investment Fund holds 154 million shares ($26.34 billion), and Baron's BAMCO holds 146 million shares ($24.91 billion).

Other key reporting entities include NVIDIA holding 123 million shares ($20.98 billion), Baillie Gifford holding 51.4 million shares ($8.78 billion), BlackRock holding 51.04 million common shares ($8.72 billion), Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan holding 50.68 million shares ($8.66 billion), and Harvard University Endowment Fund holding 12.935 million shares ($2.21 billion).

In terms of the source of holdings, Alphabet and Gigafund are pre-listing investors in SpaceX; NVIDIA's SpaceX position comes from its previous investment in xAI. FMR, BAMCO, BlackRock, and Baillie Gifford primarily represent asset management funds. The above positions first appeared in the 13F and do not necessarily mean that the institutions in question all bought into SpaceX from the secondary market after the listing.

The above amounts are all as of the June 30th quarter-end reporting value. On that day, SpaceX closed at $170.86. As of August 14th, it closed at $140, a decrease of approximately 18.1% from the end of the quarter. If the number of shares held has not changed, the current market value of the respective common stock positions will correspondingly decrease. 13F reports mainly reflect long positions in securities that can be reported at the end of the quarter and some held options, without disclosing short stock positions, option sell positions, specific buy times, transaction costs, or post-quarter-end trades.
