BlockBeats News, August 20th, Google's subsidiary Waymo has developed a custom chip, which the company claims will enhance the performance of its autonomous taxis, while also expanding the chip supply chain from third-party companies like NVIDIA to in-house development.
Waymo has stated that this ASIC chip (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) has been deployed in the company's latest generation of autonomous taxis.
