BlockBeats News, August 21st, according to Bloomberg, Franklin Templeton is preparing to bring tokenized assets to traditional investment funds. The company stated that, after receiving approval from U.S. regulatory agencies, its digital native product has been approved for use in traditional funds for the first time.
Based on a letter published by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and information revealed by company executives, Franklin Templeton plans to use its tokenized money market fund for ETFs and mutual funds, both as a fund holding and as collateral. This means that investors who originally invested in traditional funds may in the future, without actively seeking tokenized assets, include them in their portfolios.
