ETH Stalls Below $1,837 but Outruns BTC as ETF Flows Split
  • ETH0%

CoinEx News: Ethereum traded near $1,773 on June 16, capped just under the $1,837 level it failed to clear after tagging $1,849 a day earlier, with TradingView's classic pivots placing the next support at $1,671 below and the central pivot at $2,130 overhead. Even stalled here, ETH kept outrunning a weaker Bitcoin, a split that showed first in fund flows: US spot Ethereum ETFs drew about $22.5 million of net inflows on June 15, while spot Bitcoin ETFs bled roughly $64 million the same day. ETH also ran the cleaner short squeeze of the two — 24-hour liquidations reached about $196 million, with short liquidations of $146 million swamping $51 million in longs. With the FOMC meeting on June 16–17 set to steer rate expectations, reclaiming $1,837 would put the $2,130 pivot back in view, while a slip below $1,671 would signal the rebound is losing steam.
