BlockBeats News, July 9th, according to the official blog, OpenClaw announced the official establishment of a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation, jointly announced by co-founders Peter Steinberger and Dave Morin. The foundation aims to operate in an open and independent manner, with a mission to bring the power of personal AI to everyone.

Currently, OpenClaw is adding 4.5 million users per week and has become the fastest-growing code repository in GitHub history. The foundation has assembled a full-time team, with key members including Chief Architect Vincent Koc and engineering and operations personnel.

In terms of partners, OpenAI provides inference support and is a major donor; NVIDIA has launched NemoClaw to support on-premises deployment; Microsoft has released the enterprise intelligent agent product Microsoft Scout based on OpenClaw technology; the University of Michigan is the largest donor and has established the Proxy Computing Research Institute. In addition, more than 30 institutions such as Tencent, Atlassian, Vercel, and Cloudflare have joined the partnership network.

In the ecosystem, tools such as ClawHub, ClawSweeper, and Crabbox continue to be improved, and ClawCon has held 34 events in 16 countries globally, with nearly 30,000 participants.
