In contrast, there were net sales of $469 million and $9.4 billion in April and May, respectively. Furthermore, the July buying volume was also significantly higher than the 2025 monthly average of $2.7 billion. In 2025, South Korean retail investors saw their purchases of US stocks grow by over 3 times compared to 2024. Therefore, the amount of US stocks purchased by South Korean retail investors last month exceeded the amount spent on domestic stocks for the first time since February.
