The round was led by Menlo Ventures, marking one of the largest investments by the firm in the AI sector. Existing investors Notable Capital, NEA, Neo Ventures, 8VC, and MVP Ventures also participated, along with new investors such as Acrew, Forerunner, Goodwater, Peak XV, Together Fund, and PLUS Capital. This round, following the oversubscribed Series A2 round just 6 months ago, brings the total funding to $361 million. In addition to institutional investors, several athletes and cultural celebrities took part in this round, including Livvy Dunne, Shaun White, Dak Prescott, Joe Burrow, Klay Thompson, and Trae Young.

This funding round closely follows Wispr's flagship voice transcription product, Flow, experiencing rapid growth. Flow has already garnered millions of users worldwide, serving over 125,000 enterprises, with a significant number of Fortune 500 companies having employees using the service. Wispr stated that its revenue has grown over 150% each quarter in the last four quarters, reflecting how voice is transitioning from an occasional transcription tool to a common means of content creation, idea exchange, and cross-software collaboration. Wispr is also launching its first proprietary voice model, further deepening its vertical integration from the interface application to the model layer.
