Bitcoin Meets Resistance Ahead of Warsh’s Jackson Hole Speech
  • BTC0%

CoinEx News: Bitcoin rose to about $81,400 early on August 28 before sliding more than 2% to around $79,700, echoing its failed push near $81,220 earlier in the week. The pullback came before Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh’s first Jackson Hole keynote at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time, with traders looking for clearer signals on inflation and interest rates. Warsh took office on May 22 and has so far offered limited guidance on the Fed’s next policy decision.

Glassnode identifies $81,000–$86,000 as a broader supply zone, where existing holders may use a rebound to sell near their purchase prices. Bitcoin must reclaim and hold above $81,000 to show that fresh demand can absorb this supply.
