The process for changing your password is the same whether you're logged in or not. You can follow these steps:
1. Enter the login password resetting page.
- If Not Logged In: Open CoinEx App, tap [Log in/Sign Up] on the home page, then tap [Forgot Password?] on the "Log In" page. You can also tap [Help Center] > [Reset Login Password].
- If Logged In: Open the CoinEx App, log in to your account, and tap the [Avatar] icon in the top-left corner, then tap [Security] > [Login Password].
2. Enter your email address and email verification code.
3. Depending on your security tool binding, complete the two-factor verification, then tap [Next]..
Note: If your security tool is lost or unavailable, please reset it first.
4. Enter a new password and confirm it by entering it again, then tap [Confirm] to complete the process.
Note: Please set a complex password (including uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols) and store it securely, preferably offline.
Note:
- If you reset your login password while logged in, tapping [Done] will redirect you to the login page, where you will need to log in again using the new password.
- For security reasons, withdrawal will be suspended for 24 hours after resetting the login password.
