How to create a Spot Grid Strategy?
1. Visit CoinEx's official website (https://www.coinex.com), log in to your account, and select [Strategic Trading] under [Spot] in the top-left corner.
2. On the “Strategic Trading” page, find [Spot Grid] under the “Create Strategy” section and click [Create Strategy].
Reminders:
(1) If you’re creating a strategy for the first time, please read the [Risk Reminder] carefully and click [I’ve read and agree to all the above] before proceeding.
(2) Before creating a strategy, you can click the icon [Newcomer Guide] to learn how to create, run, and terminate a strategy.
3. Choose either [Auto] or [Manual] according to your needs:
(1) Auto Mode
- Auto mode: The strategy parameters are automatically configured based on technical analysis of market prices. It is beginner-friendly if you're using spot grid strategies for the first time.
- Select the market, period, and investment amount based on your needs, and click [Create] to create the grid strategy.

(2) Manual mode：
- Set the grid parameters manually based on your analysis, which is suitable for traders who are experienced in spot grid strategies.
- Traders can select the trading market, set the price range, number of grids, investment cryptos, and investment amount based on their preferences.
- By clicking [Advanced (Optional)], you can set take-profit, stop-loss, and grid trigger price. After completing the settings, click [Create] to create your grid strategy.
How to check/adjust the Spot Grid?
1. On the [My Strategies] page, you can view all the strategies you have created. You can also filter them by strategy type and running status.
- On this page, you can see information such as investment amount, total profit, grid profit, and current price.
- Click [Strategy Details] to view more detailed information about the current strategy.
2. On the "Strategy Details" page, you can view current parameters, pending and historical orders, and also make adjustments to your strategy.
(1) Edit Parameters: You can edit the grid trigger price, stop-loss price, and take-profit price.
(2) End Strategy: After the grid strategy is created, you can end it at any time as needed. When ending a spot grid, you can view the balances of the coin pair invested in the current strategy and handle your funds using one of the following methods:
- Return both coins to the Spot Account.
- Convert all to the pricing coin (such as USDT) at the best market price.
- Convert all to the target coin (such as BTC) at the best market price.
Click [Confirm] to terminate the spot grid strategy. All open orders in the strategy will be canceled, and the funds will be returned to your spot account in the cryptos you selected.
