What is Anti-Phishing Code?
Anti-phishing code is a unique verification identifier provided by CoinEx to protect your account security. It consists of a personalized code made up of 4-20 letters and numbers. Once set up, this code will appear in all official emails sent by CoinEx, serving as a key indicator to verify the authenticity of the emails.
Why is it necessary to set up an Anti-Phishing Code?
1. Identify official emails: Helps you quickly distinguish official emails from CoinEx.
2. Prevent phishing attacks: Effectively prevents scammers from impersonating CoinEx to steal your account information.
3. Enhance account security: Provides an extra layer of protection for your funds and transactions.
How to set up?
1. Visit CoinEx's official website (https://www.coinex.com), log in to your account, and select [Security Settings] from the dropdown menu under the [Avatar] icon in the top-right corner.
2. On the "Security Settings" page, click [Set] next to "Anti-Phishing Code".
3. Click [Send Code] to receive the verification code, enter the code, then click [Next].
4. Enter your personalized anti-phishing code and click [Done] to complete the setup.
Notes:
1. NEVER disclose your anti-phishing code to anyone under any circumstances, including anyone claiming to be a CoinEx customer support.
2. If you receive an email from CoinEx that DOES NOT display or incorrectly displays the anti-phishing code, DO NOT click any links in the email and contact CoinEx customer support immediately.
