BlockBeats News, June 2nd, according to on-chain analyst @ai_9684xtpa, the bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange Mt. Gox's associated wallet witnessed a large Bitcoin transaction today. Approximately 6 minutes ago, its cold wallet transferred 10,423 BTC to a new address, worth approximately $739 million at the current price. The transferred BTC is still held in the receiving address and has not been further transacted, with the specific purpose undisclosed.
Meanwhile, Mt. Gox also transferred 116 BTC to its hot wallet, valued at around $8.25 million. This significant on-chain movement from Mt. Gox-related addresses has attracted market attention, as such actions have been rare since the end of last year.
