BlockBeats News, June 17th, according to People's Daily, recently, with the support of relevant departments in Cambodia, a work team from the Ministry of Public Security has extradited Liu Ren, a key member of the Chen Zhi criminal group, from Phnom Penh, Cambodia back to China. Upon investigation, it was found that in 2016, Chen Zhi instructed Liu Ren and others to establish the Jinbei Group in Cambodia, operating multiple online gambling platforms targeting Chinese citizens for recruitment and gambling. Since 2020, the Jinbei Group has been running a telecom fraud operation in Cambodia, extensively engaging in telecommunications fraud crimes, with a particularly large amount of money involved. Liu Ren is also suspected of serious violent crimes such as illegal detention and intentional injury.

Currently, Liu Ren has been lawfully detained, and the case is under further investigation.
