BlockBeats News, July 15th. ASML (ASML.O), the world's largest computer chip manufacturing equipment supplier, announced on Wednesday that its second-quarter revenue and profit exceeded market expectations, as demand from AI chip makers offset the uncertainty in sales to China.
According to LSEG's median estimate, for the three months ending on June 30, ASML reported revenue of 9.33 billion euros (approximately $10.9 billion), higher than analysts' expectations of 8.80 billion euros. Net profit was 2.92 billion euros, also above the market's expectation of 2.62 billion euros.
At the time of writing, ASML is up 2.73% in pre-market trading.
