BlockBeats News, May 27th, Ethereum treasury company Sharplink and Solana treasury company Forward Industries will be added to the Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 indexes after the annual reconstitution of FTSE Russell, with the change taking effect at the market open on June 29th. Sharplink currently holds 868,699 ETH, worth nearly $1.8 billion, making it the second largest Ethereum treasury company after BitMine. Forward Industries, on the other hand, is the largest public Solana holder, with holdings of around $585 million SOL. This is the first time that the FTSE Russell indexes have included treasury companies primarily focused on crypto assets other than Bitcoin.
