The HYPER token is Hyperlane's utility token, used for staking to secure network operations. Validators and delegators stake HYPER to participate in message security and consensus. Network and protocol contributors earn rewards in HYPER, and the protocol supports liquid staking via stHYPER. HYPER also plays a role in governance, allowing holders to influence protocol development and key upgrades.
