1.Project introduction

Space and Time (SXT) scales zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs on a decentralized data warehouse to deliver trustless data processing for smart contracts. It indexes blockchain data from major chains like Ethereum, Bitcoin, Polygon, Avalanche, and more, allowing developers to connect indexed onchain data with offchain data from their apps. Its Proof of SQL feature enables sub-second ZK-proven query results sent directly to smart contracts, empowering real-time, data-driven onchain applications and a more robust onchain economy.

2.Token application

SXT is the native token of Space and Time, designed to sustain a decentralized, permissionless ecosystem that rewards participants for contributing high-quality datasets, securing cryptographically-tamperproof tables, and delivering sub-second ZK proofs to clients on popular chains.

The SXT token secures this pipeline by requiring validators to stake SXT as a cryptoeconomic guarantee of honest behavior. The integrity of ZK-proven SQL queries run on Space and Time are anchored in the staking and slashing incentives of the SXT token.

The SXT token powers this system by:

• Securing the network (staking & validation): Community members can participate in the network by running or staking on a validator and earning rewards.
• Incentivizing high-quality data supply: Table owners can earn SXT by making high-quality data available to the network.
• Powering protocol-level payments: SXT is the native token for all transactions on Space and Time including payments for querying data or inserting data.
