Compared to the donation amount of about $63 million in the 2024 election cycle, a16z's donation amount has significantly increased this cycle. It is worth noting that on November 6, 2024 (the day after the general election), a16z injected over $23 million into a major cryptocurrency-focused Super PAC, demonstrating its clear long-term strategic political alignment.

Most of the funds went to Super PACs focusing on cryptocurrency (such as Protect Progress, Fairshake) to support industry-friendly candidates.
