BlockBeats News, May 14th: Japanese listed company Fisco announced that it will remove "Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Business" from its business scope. Starting from the first quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2026, the reporting segments will be adjusted from the original three categories of "Information Service Business," "Advertising Agency Business," and "Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Business" to two categories. At the same time, it has decided to terminate all promotional activities related to its proprietary cryptocurrency "Fisco Coin (FSCC)" and has canceled the planned token burn.

Since 2016, Fisco has been involved in the crypto field, operating exchange platforms and acquiring the Zaif exchange. With this comprehensive exit, Fisco will cease all FSCC-related services such as payments and staking, and will no longer develop any initiatives aimed at adding value to or expanding the use of FSCC in the future.
